Terence P. Weiss, MBA
President and Managing Director

Terence P. Weiss earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance with honors from Indiana University. Mr. Weiss has been employed in the field of finance for over twenty years. He began his career in finance performing various functions in financial analysis and taxation, then focused on managing private investment portfolios while undertaking a variety of responsibilities in the analysis of equity and fixed income securities. Mr. Weiss joined Wallington Asset Management in 1988 as Vice-President and subsequently became President of the organization. Mr. Weiss continues to serve as President of Wallington, is actively involved in portfolio management and security analysis and serves as Chairman of Wallington Asset Management's Investment Selection Committee.

Jeffrey G. Dowden, CFA
Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager

Jeffrey G. Dowden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Ball State University in 1984. Mr. Dowden is a past president and board member of the CFA Society of Indianapolis and is a member of the CFA Institute. His career in the investment business began in 1989 in the retail brokerage business as a registered representative. He worked for Smith Barney, Inc. for over five years and joined Wallington Asset Management in 1997 after serving as Registered Principal and Director of Operations of a Robert Thomas Securities office in Indiana. At Wallington Asset Management, Mr. Dowden serves as portfolio manager and is a member of Wallington Asset Management’s Investment Selection Committee.

Larry J. Kunkel, MBA
Chief Operating Officer

Larry J. Kunkel earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Ball State University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan. Mr. Kunkel earned the Credit Union Executive Society Operations Professional of the Year in 2004 and earned the CCE (Certified Chief Executive) Designation in 2000. He has over 30 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry. Most recently Mr. Kunkel served as Chief Operating Officer for FORUM Credit Union in Fishers, Indiana. He also served as Chief Investment Officer, Chief Lending Officer, and Vice President of Operations during his career. Mr. Kunkel joined Wallington in March, 2010 and manages the day to day operations of the firm.

Brian M. Dunkin
Director of Wealth Management
Portfolio Manager / Qualified Plan Specialist

Brian M. Dunkin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Butler University. He began his career in the financial industry in 1987 providing financial planning for closely held business owners. Mr. Dunkin also spent eight years as a Qualified Plan Specialist for Lord Abbett & Company, responsible for plan design and implementation. Prior to joining Wallington Asset Management, Mr. Dunkin was an Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager for Alliance Bernstein. While at Alliance Bernstein, Mr. Dunkin was responsible for teaching an outcomes based, planning-centered client engagement model. At Wallington Asset Management, Mr. Dunkin uses his proven skills in this area to lead wealth management initiatives for clients and to design, install and service qualified plans. He is also a member of Wallington Asset Management’s Investment Selection Committee.

Kevin M. VanHimbergen, CFA
Associate Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst

Kevin M. VanHimbergen serves as an associate portfolio manager in addition to being actively involved in the evaluation of equity and fixed income investments. He is a member of Wallington Asset Management’s Investment Selection Committee. Prior to joining Wallington Asset Management, Mr. VanHimbergen spent seven years as a Research Analyst with Veredus Asset Management, where he was named Partner in 2005. He was responsible for performing fundamental research on various sectors and presenting buy and sell recommendations for the firm’s small-cap growth, large-cap growth, and hedge fund products. Mr. VanHimbergen earned a Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University in May of 2002. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is a member of the Indianapolis CFA Society and a member of the CFA Institute.

Matthew K. Lawson, CFA
Vice President and Senior Research Analyst

Matthew Lawson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to joining Wallington Asset Management, Mr. Lawson conducted fundamental analyses for high yield corporate debt issues as the lead analyst for the healthcare and chemical sectors. His duties included in-depth financial reviews, evaluation of industry dynamics and examination of lenders’ agreements and bond indentures. Prior to that, he was an analyst in Conseco, Inc.’s fixed income management division. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lawson assisted with the design, implementation and ongoing support of non-qualified executive deferred compensation plans. At Wallington Asset Management, Mr. Lawson serves as a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst, assessing the investment potential of equities and fixed income investments for client portfolios and contributes to the firm’s overall investment strategy, and is a member of the Investment Selection Committee. He is a member of the CFA Society of Indianapolis as well as the CFA Institute.

Robert C. Klemkosky, Ph.D.
Analytical Consultant

Robert C. Klemkosky holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is the founding dean of a Graduate School of Business at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, Korea and is the Fred T. Greene Professor Emeritus of Finance at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business where he also served as Chairman of the Finance Department from 1986 to 1992 and again from 2000 to 2003. He was Associate Dean-Research and Operations from 1992-1995. Dr. Klemkosky’s research and teaching interests are in the financial markets. His research has focused on three primary topics: 1) Risk-Return Analysis; 2) Market Efficiency; and 3) Derivatives. His work has entailed empirical investigations of the above topics and has resulted in more than 30 articles published in leading finance journals. He was the Associate Editor of the Journal of Finance and has served as Vice President of the Financial Management Association. He is currently a trustee for a mutual fund management company and is the first non-Korean to serve as a director of the Korea Stock Exchange. Dr. Klemkosky is a founder of Wallington Asset Management and serves as an analytical consultant to the Investment Selection Committee.

Enrique Rendon
Director of Operations / Chief Compliance Officer

Enrique Rendon began his career in finance in 2000 as a registered representative for Charles Schwab & Co., where he earned his Series 7 and Series 63 license. He later gained additional experience as a trust administrator for a Phoenix based trust company. Prior to joining Wallington Asset Management, Enrique served as the Operations Manager for a registered investment advisory firm located in Scottsdale. At Wallington, Enrique is directly responsible for the firm’s technical operations including supervision of portfolio accounting, trading and client services. As a dedicated former member of the U.S. Marine Corp, Enrique developed a strong sense of teamwork and resolve that serves our firm well.

Jamie L. Miller
Director of Client Services

Jamie L. Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Butler University. Mrs. Miller's experience in the financial services industry began in 1991. Prior to joining Wallington Asset Management in 1995, she worked at Prudential Securities as a registered sales assistant. Mrs. Miller is currently responsible for the division's technical operations that pertain to the servicing of client accounts.

Kristin D. Wagenhauser
Client Services Manager

Kristin D. Wagenhauser joined Wallington Asset Management in 2002 and is directly responsible for the servicing of client's accounts as well as utilizing her advanced skills in technology and marketing to assist in the coordination of Wallington's business development efforts. In addition, Mrs. Wagenhauser assists in the coordination of Wallington’s charitable giving efforts and is actively involved in the local community as Vice President of Woman’s Life Insurance Society - Indianapolis Chapter 611.
